Gratitude: the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return the kindness. This month on Thanksgiving, we recognize the importance of having and showing gratitude in our lives. At Roofing & More, we operate with an attitude of thanks all year long. I’d like to take some time to reflect on the ways that we manifest gratitude as a company and as individuals. Our mission statement is founded on thankfulness for the opportunity each customer gives us to improve their home, the excellence and hard work displayed by our employees and the privilege it is to serve Northern Virginia as a larger community.

Like I said, we are thankful for every single opportunity we get to come into a customer’s or potential customer’s home and offer advice, service and a helping hand. Gratitude also means being humble and transparent when things don’t go as planned. On a very basic level, it means offering a sincere “thank you” for your business. Our people don’t take you for granted, and in the same way, we don’t take them for granted either.

It’s one thing to say that you appreciate your employees, but it is a different thing entirely to demonstrate that appreciation.
