As Virginia and many of the surrounding states begin to “open” again, business leaders are thinking about how reopening will affect their employees and customers. Of course, many of these businesses have remained open through COVID, taking extra precautions to prevent the spread of the virus while still being able to provide for customers. At Roofing & More, we have

remained open

to serve our community and, as we enter Phase 3 of reopening the state, my wife and I have been making a lot of our own considerations.

People will always have different perspectives and we have certainly seen that as some businesses choose to remain closed or have limited services, while others are choosing to fully reopen. These business owners are tailoring their operations around their own beliefs and opinions and, as the president of Roofing & More, I am doing the same. Personally, I will continue to be as cautious as I possibly can, while still being excited and optimistic about what reopening will mean for our business and the future.

Cautious Optimism

Keeping our employees and customers safe

is our #1 priority, and it also keeps us safe as well. Through the lens of cautious optimism, we are constantly working on

new procedures and policies

that will allow us to serve our customers best, while making sure everyone stays healthy. At Roofing & More, the pandemic is not over and we are not taking the situation lightly.

Our employees will continue to wear masks and follow other CDC guidelines when in close quarters with each other and when interacting with customers in the office and on job sites. My biggest goal is to protect my people and customers. It is my belief that wearing masks works and being overly cautious will benefit everyone in the long run, including myself and my family. As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
